Kursk II Nuclear Power Plant, Russia.
Ushering in a New Generation of Nuclear Power

Nuclear Project

Kursk II, currently under construction in western Russia, represents a major leap forward in the evolution of Russian nuclear energy. Replacing the original Kursk Nuclear Power Plant, Kursk II will be the first to feature the new VVER-TOI reactor design—a next-generation pressurized water reactor with improved safety systems, higher efficiency, and increased output. Each of the planned units will deliver around 1,255 MW of net capacity, helping to ensure a stable power supply for millions while supporting the region’s industrial and economic development.

Such an ambitious project demands uncompromising engineering standards. Rosswag contributes to Kursk II with high-performance components designed to meet the plant’s rigorous operational requirements. These include open-die forged parts, ring-rolled structures, and precision-machined assemblies, all crafted from specialized alloys capable of withstanding the extreme pressures, temperatures, and radiation present in modern reactor environments. Each component is produced under strict quality control to ensure optimal reliability and longevity.

With Rosswag’s advanced components integrated into its core systems, Kursk II stands at the forefront of Russia’s nuclear modernization—combining cutting-edge reactor technology with world-class materials expertise to deliver safe, efficient, and future-ready nuclear power.
