Oskarshamn Nuclear Power Plant, Sweden.
A Legacy of Clean Energy and Technical Excellence

Nuclear Project

The Oskarshamn Nuclear Power Plant, located on Sweden’s southeastern coast, has long been a pillar of the nation’s nuclear energy infrastructure. Commissioned in the 1970s, the plant originally operated three boiling water reactor units. Today, Unit 3 remains active and is one of the largest boiling water reactors in the world, with a net electrical output of approximately 1,450 MW. Oskarshamn continues to play a strategic role in supplying low-carbon electricity to the national grid while upholding Sweden’s high standards for nuclear safety and sustainability.

Supporting a facility of this scale and complexity requires precision components that can operate reliably under extreme mechanical and thermal stresses. Rosswag contributes to Oskarshamn’s ongoing performance with high-performance parts designed for the unique demands of nuclear power generation. These include open-die forged components, ring-rolled structures, and precision-machined assemblies—crafted from specialized alloys known for their strength, long-term durability, and resistance to radiation and corrosion.

Rosswag’s expertly engineered components integrate into critical systems at Oskarshamn, helping to ensure operational stability and extend the service life of key infrastructure. Through this collaboration, Oskarshamn continues to embody the union of technical excellence and energy reliability—quietly powered by precision craftsmanship at every level.
