Ringhals Nuclear Power Plant, Sweden.
Powering Progress with Proven Reliability

Nuclear Project

Situated on Sweden’s southwest coast, the Ringhals Nuclear Power Plant is the country’s largest nuclear facility in terms of installed capacity. At its peak, it operated four reactor units—three pressurized water reactors (PWRs) and one boiling water reactor (BWR). Today, two units remain in operation (Ringhals 3 and 4), together delivering approximately 2,300 MW of net capacity. These reactors provide a significant share of Sweden’s electricity, supporting national energy security and the transition to a low-carbon economy.

Operating safely for decades in a demanding environment requires components that deliver uncompromising reliability and performance. Rosswag supports the long-term success of Ringhals with high-performance components engineered specifically for the challenges of nuclear power plants. This includes open-die forged parts, ring-rolled sections, and finely machined assemblies—all produced from specialized alloys known for their strength, resistance to thermal fatigue, and corrosion stability.

Rosswag’s precision-engineered parts contribute quietly but critically to the plant’s continued operation, helping ensure structural integrity and optimal performance over time. As Sweden looks to maintain a stable and sustainable energy mix, Ringhals remains a cornerstone of that vision—reinforced by the trusted quality of advanced manufacturing expertise.
