Shin Kori Nuclear Power Plant, South Korea.
Leading the Global Standard in Nuclear Innovation

Nuclear Project

The Shin Kori Nuclear Power Plant, located near Busan on South Korea’s southeastern coast, is a showcase of the country’s technological leadership in nuclear energy. The site hosts a mix of reactor types, including the APR-1400—South Korea’s advanced Generation III+ pressurized water reactor design. With six units (including Units 5 and 6 currently under construction), Shin Kori is set to deliver over 8,000 MW of net electrical capacity, supplying tens of billions of kilowatt-hours annually. It plays a vital role in meeting South Korea’s energy demands while significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Such a cutting-edge facility demands components that meet the highest standards of quality, durability, and safety. Rosswag supports the Shin Kori project with high-performance parts tailored for the complexities of modern nuclear systems. These include open-die forged components, ring-rolled sections, and precision-machined assemblies—manufactured from specialized high-grade alloys engineered for exceptional resistance to pressure, temperature, and long-term fatigue.

By integrating Rosswag’s precision-engineered components into its reactor systems, Shin Kori strengthens its operational reliability and maintains the highest levels of nuclear safety. This collaboration highlights how advanced manufacturing expertise quietly supports one of the world’s most advanced and respected nuclear energy programs.
