Trillo Nuclear Power Plant, Spain.
Precision and Performance in the Heart of Iberia

Nuclear Project

Located in the province of Guadalajara, the Trillo Nuclear Power Plant is one of Spain’s most modern and efficient nuclear facilities. Commissioned in 1988, Trillo operates a single pressurized water reactor with a net electrical output of approximately 1,066 MW. The plant generates around 8 billion kilowatt-hours of low-carbon electricity annually—making it a vital contributor to Spain’s energy supply and a key player in the country’s transition toward cleaner power generation.

To maintain such high reliability and safety over decades of continuous operation, Trillo depends on components that are engineered to the highest standards. Rosswag supports this commitment by supplying high-performance parts tailored for the demanding conditions of nuclear service. These include open-die forged components, ring-rolled sections, and precision-machined assemblies, all produced from specialized alloys developed for excellent resistance to heat, pressure, and corrosion.

Rosswag’s components, integrated into Trillo’s critical systems, enhance the structural resilience and operational longevity of the plant. This quiet but essential contribution helps ensure that Trillo continues to deliver safe, stable, and efficient nuclear power—reinforcing Spain’s position as a responsible and forward-looking energy leader in Southern Europe.
