Description
EN AW-2618 is a high-strength, heat-treatable aluminum-copper alloy with added magnesium and iron, specifically designed for excellent performance at elevated temperatures and under high mechanical stress. It is widely used in aerospace, motorsport, and engine construction for forged components such as pistons, connecting rods, and structural elements that require thermal stability and fatigue resistance. Although its corrosion resistance is moderate, it can be enhanced through protective surface treatments. At Rosswag, we manufacture high-performance forged parts from EN AW-2618 using advanced open-die forging and precision machining. Its outstanding strength, thermal resistance, and reliability make it ideal for demanding high-temperature applications.
