Description
A-G 1,6 is a French-designated aluminum-magnesium alloy with approximately 1.6% magnesium, offering a good balance of corrosion resistance, moderate strength, and excellent formability. It is well-suited for applications exposed to marine or chemically aggressive environments, such as storage tanks, shipbuilding components, and pressure vessels. The alloy also provides good weldability, making it ideal for complex forged parts where both shaping flexibility and long-term durability are required. At Rosswag, we use advanced open-die forging and precision machining to produce high-quality components from A-G 1,6. Its versatility and corrosion resistance make it a reliable material for lightweight structural applications.
