Description
A-Z 56 is a high-strength, heat-treatable aluminum-zinc-magnesium alloy designed for structural applications requiring excellent mechanical strength, good fatigue resistance, and dimensional stability. It is particularly well-suited for aerospace, transport, and defense industries, where forged components must perform reliably under high mechanical loads. While its weldability and corrosion resistance are more limited than other aluminum grades, these can be improved with appropriate surface treatments and design considerations. At Rosswag, we manufacture precision-forged parts from A-Z 56 using advanced open-die forging and machining technologies. Its high strength and structural integrity make it ideal for critical, load-bearing applications in lightweight engineering.
