Description
A7-U 4 SG is a high-strength, heat-treatable aluminum-copper alloy with added silicon and other elements to enhance wear resistance, machinability, and thermal stability. It offers excellent mechanical properties and is particularly suited for forged components in aerospace, automotive, and mechanical engineering where high static and dynamic loads occur. While its corrosion resistance is lower compared to other aluminum alloys, it can be improved through anodizing or coating processes.
