Description
3.1354, also known as EN AW-5083, is a non-heat-treatable aluminum-magnesium-manganese alloy known for its excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in marine and chemically aggressive environments. It combines high strength with good weldability and formability, making it ideal for forged components in shipbuilding, pressure vessels, and transport engineering. The alloy also offers good performance under dynamic loads and retains its mechanical properties even in low-temperature conditions. At Rosswag, we manufacture high-quality forged parts from 3.1354 using advanced open-die forging and precision machining. Its robustness and corrosion resistance make it a reliable material for heavy-duty and safety-critical applications.
