Description
3.4144, also known as EN AW-2618A, is a high-strength, heat-treatable aluminum-copper alloy with added magnesium and iron, specifically engineered for excellent performance under high thermal and mechanical loads. It is widely used in aerospace, motorsport, and engine construction for forged components such as pistons, turbocharger parts, and structural elements that must maintain stability at elevated temperatures. The alloy offers good fatigue strength and machinability, while its corrosion resistance is moderate and often improved with surface treatments. At Rosswag, we produce precision-forged parts from 3.4144 using advanced open-die forging and machining technologies. Its thermal resilience and mechanical reliability make it ideal for high-performance, temperature-critical applications.
