Description
3.4394, also known as EN AW-7050, is a high-strength, heat-treatable aluminum-zinc-magnesium-copper alloy specifically developed for aerospace and other high-performance structural applications. It offers an outstanding combination of strength, fracture toughness, and excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, especially in thick sections. This makes it ideal for forged components such as aircraft frames, landing gear, and other safety-critical parts. At Rosswag, we produce high-quality forged parts from 3.4394 using advanced open-die forging and precision machining. Its superior mechanical properties and corrosion resistance make it a top-tier material for demanding, load-bearing aerospace and engineering applications.
