Description
EN AW-2219 is a high-strength, heat-treatable aluminum-copper alloy specifically developed for aerospace and high-performance engineering applications. It offers excellent mechanical properties at elevated temperatures, very good weldability—especially for fusion welding—and reliable dimensional stability under thermal stress. This makes it ideal for forged components such as rocket fuel tanks, aerospace structures, and pressure vessels. While its natural corrosion resistance is moderate, it can be improved through surface treatments. At Rosswag, we manufacture precision-forged components from EN AW-2219 using advanced open-die forging and machining technologies. Its combination of strength, weldability, and thermal performance makes it a preferred choice for demanding aerospace and structural applications.
