Description
EN AW-2618A is a high-strength, heat-treatable aluminum-copper alloy with added magnesium and iron, designed for exceptional performance at elevated temperatures and under high mechanical loads. It is widely used in aerospace, motorsport, and engine construction for forged components such as pistons, connecting rods, and structural parts where thermal stability, fatigue resistance, and strength are critical. Although its corrosion resistance is moderate, it can be enhanced through suitable surface treatments. At Rosswag, we manufacture high-performance forged parts from EN AW-2618A using advanced open-die forging and precision machining. Its excellent mechanical and thermal properties make it ideal for demanding, high-stress applications.
