EN AW-5149 is a non-heat-treatable aluminum-magnesium alloy known for its excellent corrosion resistance, especially in marine and chemically aggressive environments. It offers good weldability, high formability, and moderate strength, making it well-suited for applications in shipbuilding, chemical processing, and transport engineering. The alloy performs reliably in demanding conditions where lightweight construction and durability are required.
