Description
EN AW-7175 is a high-strength, heat-treatable aluminum-zinc-magnesium-copper alloy developed for aerospace and structural applications requiring maximum strength, good fatigue resistance, and high fracture toughness. It is particularly suited for forged components such as aircraft landing gear, wing fittings, and other highly loaded structural parts. Compared to EN AW-7075, it offers improved performance in terms of damage tolerance and stress corrosion resistance. At Rosswag, we manufacture precision-forged components from EN AW-7175 using advanced open-die forging and machining technologies. Its combination of strength, toughness, and reliability makes it an excellent choice for safety-critical aerospace and engineering applications.
